Frequently Asked Questions

How Investment Bets paper trading, scoring, and pricing work.

Is Investment Bets real-money trading?
No. Investment Bets is a paper-trading app. It tracks long and short market calls for comparison and does not place real brokerage orders.
How are entry prices calculated?
Investment Bets fetches entry and exit prices server-side from market data when a user opens or closes a paper-trading bet. Users cannot submit their own prices.
How are leaderboard scores compared?
Leaderboards compare the sum of closed-trade percentage gains, so performance is ranked by return rather than account size.
How many bets can be open at once?
Every bet takes up one fixed slot of exposure capacity, and each user has ten slots, so at most ten bets can be active at the same time.
What happens when a bet reaches its expiry date?
Every bet has an expiry date. If it is still open on that date, the system closes it automatically at the server-fetched market price.
Does Investment Bets cost anything?
Accounts are free. Optional paid upgrades through Stripe increase how many traders you can follow; they do not affect bet mechanics or scoring.
